YOGIC VIBES FOR A GREENER GLOBE- Yoga Day Celebration

The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy on 21st June 2025 at the school campus ground under the able guidance and supervision of our respected Principal, Dr. B. Nagaraja Naik. The event embraced this year’s inspiring global theme — “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the holistic benefits of yoga for personal well-being and planetary harmony.

Students from Classes 1 to 9, along with their teachers, participated wholeheartedly in the celebration. The program commenced with a soulful prayer, creating a serene atmosphere for the day. The students assembled neatly in rows on the ground, ready to embrace the ancient wisdom of yoga.

Mr. Shekhar Kumar Sahu, our dedicated Sports Teacher, took the lead in guiding the students through the Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) and a series of vital yoga asanas. Each posture was explained with its physical and mental benefits, helping students understand the importance of balance, flexibility, and inner peace. The students followed with great discipline and enthusiasm, showcasing their interest in health and wellness.

The event concluded on a positive and vibrant note, leaving everyone refreshed and energized. The celebration not only promoted physical fitness but also instilled a sense of unity, mindfulness, and respect for our environment and health.

Indeed, the day served as a gentle reminder that yoga is a way of life, and its practice paves the path to a healthier, happier, and more harmonious world.
